Apple trees, cherry trees, plum trees, and lots of other trees I don’t even know the names for. Pink, white, and red, and yellow, and every shade in between. All that spectacular colour goes especially well with the architecture of Kensington and Notting Hill, so that’s where I went for a wander around one spring evening back in April.
Coming out of the long British winter hibernation is not easy, but a simple walk around my old stomping ground (I used to work in an office right next to Notting Hill Gate station about 10 years ago now!) while the sun was setting beautifully and bathing everything in golden glow lifted my moods and straightened my thoughts.
I came back home with a handful of gorgeous images that I’m going to print and put up on the walls so I can look at them and remember Spring all year long.
