For today’s One Frame I picked this image from one of the London Vacation Photoshoots I did back in May. The family contacted just before they arrived in London, and wanted to document not only their time in our beautiful city, but also their daughter turning one. I love this capture as it’s a wonderful juxtaposition of the baby girl’s facial expression and her pink birthday dress, framed by the elbows of her parents – it’s just so unbearably cute, the family had it printed as a fine art print and included in their album as well.

We started their photoshoot at InterContinental London Park Lane, where they had breakfast, and the little one was presented with a wonderful chocolate and fruit cake and blew the candle, accompanied by applause from all of the restaurant staff who were all completely smitten by her.

After breakfast and a quick outfit change for Maha, we headed to the nearby Hyde Park, where we explored the rose garden, fed the ducks at the Serpentine, and then finished the photoshoot just as Maha got very tired and fell asleep in her mother’s arms.

The family ordered a set of fine art prints to hang on their walls back home, and a set of Fine Art Albums as well, one as a main album for the family to enjoy, and a small duplicate keepsake album that their little girl can call her own, and look through to remind her of her very first adventure in London.
