Highclere Castle Wedding | Lucy and Christian

Highclere Castle Downton Abbey wedding horse and carriage approaching castle

Prepare to be teleported to Downton Abbey on this one. Quite literally. Lucy and Christian got married at Highclere Castle – a filming location for the ITV drama Downton Abbey, and it could not have been a better backdrop for this gorgeous but still a very relaxed wedding. Among many unusual things at this wedding were a tea and cake instead of a sit down dinner, no first dance and a cake with 3 separate layers (because when it comes to cakes, Lucy and Christian’s tastes do not quite match).

So, pour yourself a cup of Earl Grey and prepare to marvel at the beautiful interiors and exteriors, and of course the beautiful bride!

P.S. A huge thank you to my second shooter on the day, Tamara Kuzminski. With so much to photograph, I could not have done it without her.
