London is a truly international city, and you can meet people from all corners of the world here – and I’ve been blessed getting to know so many of them through my photography.
Something that I’ve been doing a lot lately is photographing families that are leaving the UK behind after spending several years living, working and having babies here. To remember their time in London, we get together for a special photography session, and go visit places that are meaningful for them, places they grew to love, places they visited often.
This family was moving back to Australia literally weeks after we had our photography session. They wanted to capture the beauty of British autumnal colours, and well as the area they lived in and loved – Hampstead. Now that they are finally settled into their home back home, I can share their session with you.

We started our photography session with a walk around Hapmstead Heath, discovering little hidden places and beautiful light.

Afterwards, we headed into town, browsing little streets of North London for perfect brick walls and cobbled paths.

Thank you guys for trusting me to create these special memories for you. I hope you’re enjoying your new life back in Australia – and secretly hoping your job will bring you to London again at some point, and we will get to play again!

Lovely! Such warm and emotional pictures.
